StepStone Real Estate (“SRE”), the real estate arm of private markets investment firm StepStone Group (Nasdaq: STEP), announced the promotion of eight senior professionals across its global platform, including the advancement of three women to the firm’s highest rank of Partner.

In London, Laia Massague and Pooja Patel were promoted to Partner, and in Frankfurt, Anja Ritchie was also named Partner. Ms. Massague and Ms. Patel co-lead SRE’s investment and asset management activities across Europe, while Ms. Ritchie oversees European research and advisory. In addition, Ms. Massague serves on the firm’s real estate debt investment committee, and Ms. Ritchie on its real estate fund investments committee.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see these three exceptionally talented women rise through our junior ranks to become partners,” said Jeff Giller, Co-Founder and Head of StepStone Real Estate. “Each of them has played a pivotal role in driving the success of our platform.

“At StepStone, we are deeply committed to identifying, developing, and advancing outstanding professionals. The recent promotions of these new Partners and Managing Directors reflect our focus on nurturing internal talent and ensuring the long-term growth and success of our business,” Giller added.

In addition to the Partner promotions, five team members were elevated to Managing Director: Simi Olusoga (New York), Richard Lowe (London), Gray Layden and Alec Darbyshire (San Francisco), and Colin Donnelly (Chicago). Ms. Olusoga oversees Project Management for SRE’s business development efforts. Mr. Lowe focuses on asset management in Europe. Messrs. Layden and Donnelly focus primarily on U.S. investments across discretionary funds and separate accounts, while Mr. Darbyshire leads portfolio management for the platform.

These promotions underscore SRE’s commitment to recognizing performance, deepening leadership across geographies, and supporting the continued growth of its global real estate business.
