StepStone Group (Nasdaq: STEP), a global private markets solutions provider, has announced the opening of its new office in Italy at Piazza della Repubblica 32, 6th Floor, 20124 Milano.

This marks StepStone’s second office in Italy. Its Rome office was established in 2018. “Our expansion into Milan reflects our commitment to Italy’s institutional and wealth management investors,” said Giada De Mattia, Partner and Head of Business Development in Southern Europe. “By combining local knowledge with global resources, we remain well positioned to meet our clients’ ever-evolving needs.”

In establishing a presence in Italy’s financial hub, StepStone will be better able to serve the country’s private banks, family offices and wealth managers while complementing its longstanding work with insurance companies, pension funds and large institutional clients.

“With seven offices across Europe, our growth in Milan aligns with our strategy of strengthening our presence in Europe’s key financial hubs,” added David Jeffrey, Partner and Head of Europe at StepStone. “Together, our Milan and Rome offices enhance our ability to serve clients throughout Italy and the broader region.”
